BENSON BOONE OPENS HIS “WANTED MAN TOUR” IN PITTSBURGH

Benson Boone took the stage Tuesday night at PPG Paints Arena to a roaring crowd on the first night on his "Wanted Man Tour.”

Supported by Olivia O'Brien, the evening marked the official beginning of Boone's 34-date U.S. arena run. The Pittsburgh crowd embraced the occasion from the opening moments, creating an atmosphere that was undeniably a fun evening for everyone in attendance.

Boone wasted no time introducing fans to the world of the Wanted Man. The setlist blended favorites including "Wanted Man," "Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else," "Mystical Magical," and "Mr. Electric Blue" alongside the songs that helped establish his meteoric rise. Emotional performances of "In the Stars" and the chart-topping "Beautiful Things" reminded the audience why Boone has become one of pop's fastest-growing live performers, balancing his fun, bouncy personality with his arena-sized production.

The tour stage setup was very similar to his previous tour, the American Heart Tour, with the only key difference being the shape of the catwalk, with a circle on the end instead of a heart.

One of the night's biggest strengths was its pacing. High-energy moments flowed naturally into quieter, emotional performances before building back toward explosive moments. Boone was able to keep up and perform 21 songs in total, including an unreleased song that he performed on the piano.

Another standout moment of opening night was the audience itself. Nearly every lyric was sang back toward the stage, with thousands of voices joining Boone during every song. The connection between artist and fans was obvious throughout the evening, creating moments that felt intimate despite taking place inside a packed arena.
